This is your turning point

On knowing instead of hoping, and the decision that changes everything.

20,000 people around me in the Delta Center, Salt Lake City. On the screen, a film was playing about doTERRA’s project in Kenya. And then it happened: goosebumps over my entire body. The 20,000 people disappeared. It was as if that film was being played just for me. And I knew: I’m going there.

I didn’t hope. I didn’t wish. I knew it.

With every cell in my body I could already feel myself standing there. Among the elephants and lions. In the fields of tea plants. Laughing with the farmers. Helping at the school doTERRA had set up there.

A year later, I stood there. Exactly as I’d felt it. As a Blue Diamond leader, with my own team, making an impact in a way I’d only dared to dream of. The odds of it actually happening were slim. But doubt? I didn’t have any. Because that’s how it works for me: when you feel the outcome that clearly and that deeply, you start acting on it too, every single day, until reality begins to bend towards you.

Welcome to your turning point

That full stop in GOOD. isn’t just a punctuation mark. It’s THE moment. The zero point where everything changes. Where you stop hoping your life will get better and DECIDE it happens now.

Knowing instead of hoping: what happens in your brain

This is where I find real power, and there’s ordinary neuroscience behind it too. Your brain doesn’t fully distinguish between a vividly visualised experience and a real one: intense visualisation activates some of the same brain regions as actually living through it. Elite athletes have used this for decades (mental rehearsal). And by repeatedly directing your attention and emotion towards something, you gradually shape your neural pathways, which is called neuroplasticity. Your brain literally starts filtering the world differently: suddenly you see the opportunities that fit where you’re heading.

That’s how I felt Kenya in every cell. My attention, my choices and my behaviour were already tuned to that future, and the rest followed. Call it manifestation, call it reprogramming your brain, for me it comes down to the same thing: you become the person who belongs to your goal, and act from there.

But watch out: visualising without action is like a car with no petrol. Pretty to look at, but you’re not going anywhere.

From dreaming to doing

When I started with doTERRA, I was a mother of two young children. Time? What’s that. Money? Even less. But I had a burning desire: to be healthy, to look after my family, and to help others experience the same.

I started small. Shared what worked for me. Lavender for my skin. Enzymes because I don’t do so well with bread and milk. Probiotics for my microbiome. Living glucose aware, moving optimally, taking the right supplements, emotional balance. People saw my change and wanted the same.

What began as “let me just share this oil that helps me” grew into a movement, from the Netherlands to Germany to international. A business that gave me not just financial room, but time too: I set my own working hours, I choose who I work with, and I can be there for my children. To go to Kenya. To live from abundance instead of lack.

Your springboard to more freedom

doTERRA has renewed its compensation plan, making it more accessible to build something alongside your job. Even if you’re “not a salesperson”. Even if you think network marketing isn’t for you.

Because here’s what I’ve learnt: when you help others feel healthier and happier, physically, mentally and emotionally, a lot comes back to you. You grow, they grow, and the world becomes a little more beautiful.

Shaping your new self

Bob Proctor said: “Your income can only grow to the level that you grow.” That’s why every change, whether it’s health, relationships or work, starts with becoming a new version of yourself.

Who are you when you’re healthy? How do you walk, how do you talk, what do you eat? Who are you when you feel freer? How do you think, what choices do you make? Start living there now. Not once you’ve reached your goal. Now.

Write it, feel it, anchor it

Grab pen and paper. Write down who you are exactly one year from now. Not what you have, but who you ARE. Start every sentence with “I am…” and write in the present tense. Let your hand move without overthinking it.

Then make your own GOOD. Blend to anchor this vision.

Roll-on recipe (10 ml):

Scent has a direct line to your limbic system, the part of your brain where emotion and memory meet. By pairing this blend with your visualisation, the scent becomes your anchor: every time you smell it, you call up that same emotional state. Wear it as a perfume.

The daily practice

Every morning, after my VMG+ green smoothie, I do my visualisation. I apply my GOOD. roll-on to my wrist, over my heart and in my palm, rub my hands together, cup them under my nose and breathe in deeply.

That scent helps me shift into calm and focus, and sets the tone for my day. I close my eyes and feel. Not think, feel. What it’s like to be that person. The leader making an impact. The mother who can be there. The woman who lives and gives from abundance. Then I open my eyes and act from that energy. Every choice, every conversation, every action comes from that future version of myself.

The moment is NOW

You’re standing at a turning point. You can carry on as you are, hoping things get better, waiting for the perfect moment. Or you can decide. Now. Here. This moment.

Deciding that your health becomes a priority. That you create more room and freedom. That you’re going to make an impact. That you play the lead role in your own life.

This isn’t “fake it till you make it”. It’s more like “become it till you see it”: you first become, from the inside, the person who fits your goal, and act from there, day after day, until it becomes visible.

From surviving to abundance, the choice is yours

I know where you are, because I was there too. That feeling that there must be more. That drive to grow. That voice saying “you were made for more than this”. Listen to that voice.

Whether you choose optimal health, emotional balance, more freedom, or all three: it starts with one decision. This is your point. Your turning point. The question isn’t WHETHER you can. The question is: do you dare?

Because if a mother of young children with zero time and even less money can do it, if I could go from surviving to doTERRA Blue Diamond, if I could stand in Kenya exactly as I’d felt it, then so can you.
