What it does

Ylang Ylang, literally 'flower of flowers', is distilled from the star-shaped yellow flowers of the tropical ylang-ylang tree on Madagascar. The flowers are hand-picked and distilled within 24 hours, so the full, sweet aroma is preserved. In Indonesia the petals were scattered on the bed of a newly married couple; you'll find the scent in the most famous perfumes in the world.

Popular in perfume and hair care, for example diluted with a little Fractionated Coconut Oil as a conditioner. The aroma is surprisingly complex: sweet and fresh on top, warm and creamy underneath.

How to use Ylang Ylang

1.As perfume: 1 drop diluted on your wrists or over your heart.
2.In your hair: a few drops with Fractionated Coconut Oil as a conditioner.
3.In the bath: 5 drops to 5 ml of carrier oil, with a little Epsom salt, for a moment of softness.
